Email Promotion-Internet Marketing

Email Promotion Internet Marketing

When it comes to building a profitable online business you actually have many inexpensive, yet effective, methods available to you.  One of the best methods to use is  email promotion internet marketing. Using an opt-in email list to build trust and rapport with your website visitors can pay you dividends for years to come.

Building an opt-in email list is simply a way to get your visitors to grant you permission to send them emails thus eliminating the danger of being accused of spamming. When a visitor gets to your website they will have the chance to sign up, or opt in, to your email list.  In order to encourage them to sign up you can offer them useful  information that will provide them with a lot of value.

For example, lets say your website is on bird watching, if you want to get your visitors to sign up to your email list you could offer them an ebook on the basics of birdwatching.  It doesn’t have to be something expensive to have a high perceived value.

The reason building an email list is so important to your long term internet marketing success is because it can be very difficult to build long lasting relationships online.  The internet offers amazing opportunities but it can also be tough to set yourself apart from all the other internet marketers.  By building a list you can communicate with, and provide helpful information to, the people  on your list for as long as you want.

In order for this technique to be effective there are a few things you have to keep in mind:

1. Do not make all of your  emails one sales pitch after another, if you do your subscribers will opt out of your list and you will lose that potential customer forever.  Instead offer them useful information in every email and either send out one sales pitch for every 5 or so informational emails, or you can add a P.S. at the end of your email message suggesting a product or service that can help them accomplish some goal.

2.  When offering them an ebook or a newsletter as encouragement to sign up to your list,  make sure that it is something that has a lot of truly beneficial information in it.  People are overwhelmed with free offers these days and more often than not the free things really don’t offer that much value. This is a great way to set yourself apart from the others, if you offer some unique and valuable information for free instead of the same old recycled junk that everyone else gives away, you will show your visitors that they can trust you which will make them much more likely to buy from you in the future.

Email promotion internet marketing is the only real way to establish a long term relationship with your website visitors.  It’s much easier for you to make another sale to an existing customer than it is to constantly find new customers to sell to, use email to leverage all of your website visitors.

Is Multi Level Marketing A Scam

Multi Level Marketing – Is It a Scam?

The Internet has become one of the most used tools in the world today. There are all sorts of different things done to make money online and because of the wide variety, it’s no wonder people question what is and what isn’t a scam. On a side note, it’s kind of mind boggling to think that there are so many people who will try to use you for your money. It would be nice if we lived in an honest world. So, is multi level marketing a scam? Maybe it is, or maybe it isn’t. I say that only because you’re the one who is going to have to make that decision. Well, that’s probably why you’re here right now, to find that out.

First of all, you’re going to want to find out everything you can about the company; what their focus is, and what kind of training they supply their marketers with. These are very important questions that you want to make note of in the process of finding a multi level marketing program and it will help you know if it is a scam or not.

The Length of Existence – A multi level marketing company should exist about five years to be legit. Why? Well, you’ll find that the higher percentage of MLM programs started, usually end up in failure after two years. You want a company that is legitimate. Look into the logistics of the company to find out what it’s positives and negatives are. You don’t want to be a part of a multi level marketing scam or a part of one that won’t last.

The Product – It is a common thing for people to think that multi level marketing is a scam. Although some of them are, it’s easy to get it mixed up with pyramid schemes. The difference between the two is that multi level marketing companies rely on a product to sell. They recruit others to sell the product, who in turn, recruit and so on, the focus being the product.

In a scam, well, the focus is going to be on making money off of recruitment. They require a fee to join and they tell those they recruit, that if they recruit others, that’s where their profit comes in. Often times this will result in unfairness and being cheated. Make sure that you are selling a product for profit and not recruiting for profit.

Training – You’ll find that a legit multi level marketing company will always have top quality training. They want their recruits to do just as well as they themselves do and they don’t leave anyone behind. Figure this out. You want to be trained properly. You don’t want to get stuck with a company that won’t help you out and if that happens, you can consider it a scam.

So, is multi level marketing a scam? There are those out there that are. But if you look into the companies and really find out how long they’ve existed, if they focus on a product and not recruitment, and what training they provide, you will have a better chance at finding a multi level marketing company that isn’t a scam.

Are you still doing multi-level marketing the old way? You know what I’m talking about—a kiosk in a shopping center, soliciting everyone you know, cold calls to supposedly “warm” lists . . .

You know, the kinds of things that gave multi-level marketing a bad name with almost anyone who wasn’t a multi-level marketer?

Using those old techniques is like trying to use a wet match to start a fire—you’re not going to get a lick of warmth out of it, and all the smoke is going to seriously irritate your neighbors.

Now, I’m not going to give you the full story of my first attempt at multi-level marketing. Let’s just say that it’s been 8 years, and I am just starting to not feel guilty about calling my friends so often in the past.

But now I’m a success. I did it through multi-level marketing. And no one is afraid to pick up the phone when I call!

Really, that alone has done loads for my social life.

But how have I achieved this success—and more importantly, how can you achieve the same success? Let me give you a crash course in today’s multi-level marketing:

Move your multi-level marketing business online. Find a new company if you have to, and take as many of your downline with you as want to come. There is no reason you should spend hundreds of hours and maybe thousands of dollars to reach hundreds of people when you could be spending that time and money reaching hundreds of thousands.
Find an online multi-level marketing superstar and learn everything that person has to teach you. Online MLMs run under some of the same underlining principles as traditional multi-level marketing does—but the tactics are oh, so different. You don’t want to try anything you’re not completely ready to do.
Have you ever done something completely ridiculous only to have pictorial proof show up on FaceBook? You can’t do anything about the past, of course, but decide right now how you want your public face to look once your multi-level marketing business is online.
If you’re totally new to the technology involved, consider purchasing a ready-made marketing system. It’s a “business in a box,” if you will, that gives you the website, the necessary software, and in some cases even some content. You’re going to need to have it all personalized, of course, but a ready-made system can get your online multi-level marketing business growing much faster!
Get ready for a lifetime of learning! To be a star multi-level marketer online, it’s necessary for you to constantly update your knowledge so that you can bring even more value to the table.

And really, those are the basic things you need to learn to get started as an online multi-level marketer. I guarantee you—give yourself one month without cold calls or soliciting strangers, and you’ll never look back!

Multi-Level Marketing Review

Multi-Level Marketing Review

Why is multi-level marketing so popular today? Why should you spend your valuable time considering and researching this business model? This is just for people who can’t find a real job – right? Isn’t it like a pyramid scheme and illegal? You get a special bonus of swamp land in Florida just for joining!

If any of those questions came to your mind, keep on reading, before you make a big mistake.

Before we get into the definition of what Network Marketing – also called Multi-Level-Marketing-is, and what it isn’t, let’s look at some interesting facts and figures about this exploding industry.

There are over fifty nine million people around the planet – involved now in the multi-level marketing industry. There’s been huge growth over the last few years. Over 14,000,000 people in the United States alone, are in a home based business, specifically network marketing.

More than 1 billion dollars of retail goods were sold globally through the Network Marketing industry! Over billion dollars of those sales were here in the United States!

Given the massive numbers of people and organizations doing business in network maketing – isn’t it worth at least looking at?

Once upon a time, if you’d mention MLM to anyone you’d get a range of responses-mostly negative. So what’s happened to make this once maligned industry into a viable business model that more and more companies are taking note of and incorporating into their structure?

Much in every way. For one there are more stringent controls and regulations on MLM companies.
Agencies like the Federal Trade Commission keep a sharp eye on this industry to keep the schemers and scammers out.

Secondly, MLM is a very different structure than corporate america, and provides much more opportunities for self employment-people who have never owned a company or ran their own business can often step into this industry and be successful.

Thirdly, the MLM business model saves a heck of alot of money over more traditional distribution channels and ways of doing business – and people are interested in that – especially in an economy like this one.

What are the nuts and bolts of this type of business?

“Multi-Level Marketing is a legal system of merchandising products through multiple levels of distribution (distributors). These distributors purchase at wholesale and act as a middleman between the manufacturer and the consumer who pays retail.” This is one of the first formal definitions, published by Doris Wood of the MLMIA.

Multi-level marketing is a type of direct selling – companies that use distributors to directly get their product or service out there in the market place. They make commissions based upon the total dollars or volume of products and services that they sell.

Some direct sales companies just pay the distributor every time they make a sale. With multi-level marketing, you get paid not only when your customer purchases a product, you also get paid from the efforts of people who join under you in your organization. So, you have the opportunity for leveraged and residual income – getting paid over and over for doing the work once.

Network Marketing or MLM gives you the opportunity to build a sales organization, and to be compensated based upon the successes of their downlines.By recruiting others into your organization, you build levels. Your distributors recruit others beneath them, and on and on it goes. How far down the levels that you will be allowed to collect commissions depends on the structure of the particular company you are working for.

With MLM’s, your commission qualifying is based upon the number of people in your downline, the number of sales that you make, the total revenue that you bring in, and many other factors that work together in different ways – depending upon your company’s structure.

When’s the last time you saw a compensation arrangement like this in the corporte world? Unless you’re a CEO of course… Imagine if you got a job frying French fries at MacDonald’s. What are the chances that you would advance to CEO or president, and get the big bucks? Even though it’s possible, the odds are against it for the majority of people.

Not so with network marketing. The average person can – and often does – rise right up through the ranks and start making the kind of money that only officers of corporations would normaly make. The only limitation you have is that which you place upon yourself.

Why are more and more traditional companies choosing to distribute their products and services this way?

Because it’s much more cost effective to run a company that way.. Most traditional companies have a long line of middlemen throughout their distribution network, and these middlemen suck up money. With MLM, these middlemen are eliminated and the people who actually do the work and make the sales are the ones who are paid the big bucks. There no glass ceiling, no discrimination, no brown nosing…You get the picture : ) There are usually no expensive marketing and advertising campaigns-network marketing companies rely on their distributors to get the product out there by word of mouth. This has proven to be effective and lucrative for both the company and the distributor. Why is multi-level marketing so popular today? Why should you even bother to consider this business model? Isn’t this just for people who can’t find a real job? Aren’t those “companies” just scams to take people’s money? You get a special bonus of swamp land in Florida just for joining!

You may be thinking some or all of these things. If you are – keep on reading. If you’re not – keep on reading.

We’ll define network marketing later, but first it’s important to look at, and analyze some data about this industry.

This industry has expanded tremendously, with more than sixty one million people now involved all around the world. Over 14,000,000 people in the United States alone, are in a home based business, specifically network marketing.

A tremendous number of retail goods have changed hands around the globe as a result of multi-level-marketing – over one hundred eleven billion dollars. The number of sales in the United States alone is staggering. It’s over thirty billion dollars.

If so many people and companies are doing business in the multi-level marketing industry, isn’t it worth having the intellectual honesty to really research this business model?

Once upon a time, if you’d mention MLM to anyone you’d get a range of responses-mostly negative. This once maligned business is now widely accepted as completely legitimate, and a sought after business model that more and more companies are taking note of and incorporating into their structure?

Much in every way. For one there are more stringent controls and regulations on MLM companies.
Government agencies and watchdog organizations regularly police this industry to ward off abuses.

Second, the very structure of Network Marketing provides a strong opportunity for entrepreneurship-in many cases, people are getting into the MLM business, who have never owned their own company or ran their own organization.

Thirdly, the MLM business model saves a heck of a lot of money over more traditional distribution channels and ways of doing business – and people are interested in that – especially in an economy like this one.

MLM is a type of direct sales – where distributors directly market their products out in the business world and community. Distributors are paid a commission based on the sale of these products or services.

Some direct sales companies just pay the distributor every time they make a sale. In MLM, not only are you compensated when your client directly purchases your product or service from you ,you also get paid from the efforts of people who join under you in your organization. So, you have the opportunity for leveraged and residual income – getting paid over and over for doing the work once.

Multi-level marketing provides people with the opportunity to build their own sales organizations, and to be compensated based upon the successes of their downlines.By recruiting others into your organization, you build levels. Your distributors recruit others beneath them, and on and on it goes. How far down the levels that you will be allowed to collect commissions depends on the structure of the particular company you are working for.

In many Network Marketing companies, the more distributors that you have in your downline and/or the more sales you make, you’ll qualify for higher commissions or bonuses and higher ranking in the company.

When’s the last time you saw a compensation arrangement like this in the corporate world? Unless you’re a CEO of course… If you get a job flipping burgers at Burger King, what are the chances of you ever rising to the highest ranks and actually being able to take part in the profit sharing at high levels? It’s possible, but not probable – right? It’s possible, but for most of us, it’s highly unlikely.

The structure of Multi-Level Marketing provides the opportunity for an average person, who works hard and is dedicated, to move up through the ranks- and sometimes very quickly- and make the kind of money that CEO’s make in big companies!

So, why are more and more organizations choosing this business model as a means of distribution?

It’s a more economical way to structure a company. It’s a win – win situation for everyone involved.

Making Money Through Blogging

More and more people are realisingthat blogging is one of the best ways to start your own online business.   Start up costs are minimal, you can build an expanding  and loyal readership over time and once you know how to monetize your blog it can also generate a decent income that will just keep on coming even through periods where you don’t update your blog.

There are a number of ways to set up a blog online.   The two most popular blogging platforms is WordPress.  You set your wordpress blog up under your own domain name.  It’s a very easy process and takes only a few minutes.   There are some free sites that hosts your blog for you; but when you go with one of these site you sacrifice the control of your blog.
The important thing to realise is that if you want to make serious money from blogging, you really do have to have complete control over your blog.  You don’t want any restrictions on what you can actively promote.  This is where the free blogging accounts fall down as you are bound by their terms and conditions which can be very restrictive and reduce you’re earning potentially dramatically. To say nothing about the fact that many of people who have put a lot of work in to establishing a blog on one of these free sites have had it removed without notice some weeks or months later.

It only takes a few dollars to buy a domain name and set up a web server to host your blog on. The benefits will far outweigh the cost involved.  In fact you can do this for as little as $20 a small price to pay for your total freedom.
Once you have set your blog up you need to pick a theme but don’t worry there are literally thousands of templates to choose from it’s just a question of picking once that suits your subject or topic.

The big question is what you’re going to blog about.   Well the whole world is your oyster  – people blog about their lives, about their hobbies; about there holidays about  their kids, about there work, what it’s like to be a parent, the list is literally endless.  But whatever you choose it needs to be something you are passionate about.  The reason for this is that you are going to be writing about the topic that you have chosen several times a week, and if you don’t have the enthusiasm or passion it will come through in your posts.
Okay – so you’ve got your topic. The next step is to start writing your blog posts.  Don’t worry its not as hard as it sounds because you are going to be writing about a passion right?  So first do a little research and jump on the internet and take a look at a few of the blogs already online, you’ll notice that the length of the posts vary. Some people only write a paragraph or two each time others write reams.  As you do your research you find that you get best results if you aim for round 400 to 500 words stuffed with quality information.  The amount of words vary immensely  from blogger to blogger some only do a paragraph or two others do really long posts of thousands of words and could be called an e-books in there own right. Free EBook?

The bottom line is that there are really no rules when it comes to blogging.  Over time you will find what works for you, and settle into a nice pattern that your readers will both appreciate and enjoy. As you become more confident your character and personality come through and you will be come relaxed in your writing. In time you will grow a loyal and expanding audience.

So you’ve got your blog up and running and are posting to it on a regular basis. The next step is to get it in front of as many interested people as you possibly can..
There are a number of ways to do this; you can submit it to as many of the social bookmarking sites as possible. You can also join social networking sites and build a profile which links out to your blog. Then there is writing articles and submitting them to free article directories linking out to your blog from author bio box..  There are thousands of internet forums where you can leave a comment in and lastly every email you send out you can put s link to your blog in the signature.  All of the above are free so you can start to generate traffic for your blog with little or no investment.

The only thing left to do is monetize your blog. Monetisation means that are going to generate some money from your visitors and there are plenty of ways to do this easily. Google Adsense is probably the most well known method – which involves Google placing contextual ads on your site and you getting paid when people click on them.  You can join the Google Adsense program for free and start to make money from day one.

There are also websites that give you the opportunity to get paid for each blog post you make on a specific subject. Two such sites are Pay Per Post and Review Me.  They will pay you a certain amount of money to review a product or website for the owner. Similarly you can also review and recommend other people’s products through affiliate links inserted into your blog posts, and earn money on commissions earned through any purchases people make.  Probably  the most famous site for this is clickbank.  Once again this is free to join and really can make you money quickly once you know what to do.

When your blog becomes more established you can offer ad space on it, and charge a fee for both classified and display ads if you wish.  To a degree this depends on the subject you have chosen and the profitability of it but this is a definitely a possibility for a popular blog.  What could be better than setting your own price?
There is one final monetisation step you can take with you blog.  Once it’s established and has plenty of revenue and traffic you can sell it for around ten times it monthly revenue.  How cool is that?

Then start all over again with an whole new topic and a new challenge only this time it will be easier because you’ll know exactly what to do.
So that’s it in a nutshell – how to profit from blogging. If you have any questions feel free to leave your comments below. And once you’ve done that, get your self organised put your blog up and out start building your first blog today.
