We are in the midst of the worst financial down turn in living memory and as always its middle to low income families that suffer the most. Many are looking for legit ways to generate extra money, and the idea of making money online sure is attractive. But the question is how do you do it? Is there a way for the average person to make money online or is the truth simply that that it just can’t be done?
Well have I’ve been on line for over 5 years and can tell you that most people don’t make any money on the internet. In some cases they lose lose money, and some sadly lose a lot of money Why is this? Well because many people just don’t do the due diligence required to make money in the first place they just don’t do the checks or get involved in something that they just don’t have the skill set to do. The plain fact is that you can make money but the questions is just how do you go about startng?
Well, there are many uncomplicated ways to make money online that require little or no investment, and that are pretty safe in fact for now though here are a two ideas to just to get you started.
Ebay is a great way to make money on line it’s by far the largest auction site in the world and most people are familiar with it. I won’t, go into the details of how it works etc here just go over to Ebay and set an account up . Next go search your house from top to bottom and look for things you no longer need. You might have an old digital camera or mobile phone or a set of old vinyl records you don’t use any more you don’t know till you look and you’ll be amazed at what sells on Ebay. Once you’ve done this go around to your family and friends and see if they have anything they want to get rid of that you can sell. The thing is to get excited: After all your about to make some money from stuff you had just lying around and with no investment whatsoever. Of course Ebay fees will be deducted once you sell your items but you will be making money which is our objective. Take some pictures of the items you are selling, then go to eBay and see how much others are asking for when selling similar products. Then all you need to do is price your items accordingly. My advice: be honest, describe the items accuratley and disclose any problems they may have up front. You want people to be happy with you so they can leave you a good feedback. You need to work on you credibility when you start out your reputation really is everything on Ebay the better the feedback you receive, the more credible you are.
Another option is to sell any used books you have through Amazon. If you have only have a handful of books at home it probably won’t be worth the trouble, but on the other hand if you have a tons of books this could be just what you are looking for. However be warned the competition can be fierce when selling books through Amazon, so you need to list yours cheaper than other sellers. Bear in mind that you will also make some money on the shipping fee as well. Similar to Ebay this is another opportunity to ask family, friends and neighbours if they have books they no longer need that you can list on Amazon. You may be pleasantly surprised at just how many books you can get for free. Once Again, be honest and describe the books accurately. I’ve found that Cookbooks and self-improvement books sell faster than other types like novels. Even though you don’t make a lot (about a pound or two per book, sometimes more), there are actually a lot of people making a living selling books on the internet.
