Earn Money Online Honestly And Sensibly

Earn Money Online Honestly And Sensibly

You might have heard or read all about how you can earn money online and work from home.

There are myths, suppositions, and facts involved – and it can become a bit confusing.

This article is just going to cover a few basic facts as well as some straightforward opinions on the subject, from someone who does earn some money online and knows others who work online full-time for a living.

- The “get rich quick and get poor quick later” days of the Internet may be drawing to a close. Some years ago, there were people who practically became millionaires overnight. The methods they used were not always honest or even stable so they lost it all shortly afterwards.

Some others began making money online at that time and they continues to earn money online to this day. They might have even made it very quickly. Some were working online for only some weeks or months before they started to generate a considerable revenue.

It’s true that there was much less competition back then. It was also more possible to take “shortcuts” which generated short-term spurts of income but didn’t necessarily work out in the long run. As time went on and the Internet developed, many of these shortcuts were no longer possible.

Google, for example, has been continuously changing its algorithms. The service that Google wants to deliver when a web surfer types a search term into the Google Search Bar is: relevant results.

If a visitor types in “dog collars” the visitor wants to see relevant, high-quality, and informative websites about dog collars.

In the past, it was possible for various shortcuts and tricks to be used to get one’s website to the top of the search results for “dog collars” – even if the website in question was not high-quality. The owner of that website could sell advertising. Or he could sell dog collars themselves. Thus he could generate a lot of revenue, as a result of the high traffic on his site.

Google wants to have high-quality and relevant sites at the top. So it constantly adjusts its algorithms in such a way that only the best can really make it there.

It’s no longer a walk in the park to get high rankings for a competitive search term. You have to build your website over time. It takes honest work, consistent building, and standard search engine optimization to get it to the top.

This is one example of the statement that “shortcuts no longer do the trick like they used to.”

Some people crashed and burned when their shortcuts no longer worked.

Others learned from mistakes or were just building and promoting their sites honestly from the beginning. These people were headed for long-term success – whether they knew it at the time or not.

Now – can I say that you can start working online and instantly earn enough to live off of?

Unfortunately I can not say that. It may or may not happen to some. It hasn’t happened to me or anyone I know in the field of Internet Marketing.

So why should one bother to learn how to earn money online, or work at home in Internet Marketing?

Well, it may take long to get there, but when you do, it is really worth it.

If you start off with honest marketing methods, good research, and a sensible strategy, and if you work on it regularly and consistently, you can absolutely reach the point of earning all of your income online and working from home.

It is even realistic that you could become like some Internet Marketers and bloggers, who earn ,000 or more per month. Some even become millionaires but I won’t get into that now. Different people have different amounts of success.

An advantage of working online is that you are not tied to a fixed income or an hourly wage. Another advantage is that your income is virtually unlimited. You do not have to deal with overhead costs, large start-up fees, a payroll full of employees, and the like.

But your potential is huge. Well – what if you had a website, and one day that website received tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of visitors each month? Just in ad revenue that website could earn many thousands of dollars per month. What if it grew exponentially and began to get millions of visitors per month? You get the idea.

If you want to get started at earning money online and you truly wish to succeed, I suggest:

1. Learn how to earn money online from an honest and inexpensive source. Don’t pay hundreds or thousands of dollars for memberships or training, particularly when you are just starting out. It isn’t necessary and it’s a waste of time.

2. Avoid get-rich-quick messages, confusing people, promises of “getting paid lots of money without having to work.”

3. Do good keyword research before you start. Better two weeks spent on keyword research than two years spent on the wrong keywords. Learn how to do keyword research.

4. Work systematically. Apply tried and true methods. Don’t disperse off into many directions at once, but finish what you start.

5. Make friends with other honest Internet Marketers. Share ideas and advice with them.

6. Provide good service. Give something in exchange for the revenue you intend to generate. This is far more effective than trying to trick or cheat the money into your bank account. A website, or any service offered online (if it is any good) provides some kind of service – even if it that service is only to provide information to those who need it.

7. Persist, plan, and strategize.

The funny thing is, it isn’t even complicated or difficult. It’s made to look like that because there are so many distractions, diversions, and dishonest methods being used and promoted. Earning money online is actually easy – but you have to learn how to do it. And that doesn’t always happen overnight. Is it hard to learn? No. It’s not nuclear physics. It’s arguably one of the most user-friendly subjects I’ve ever encountered.

The more you learn, and the more you implement what you learn, the better your income potential will become. The sooner you start, the better your chances of success.

Keys to Earning Money Online

Keys to Earning Money Online

There are many ways to earn money online some more difficult than others, some more expensive than others but ALL require vast amounts of time to set up and maintain. There does exist a way to earn money online that is not as time-consuming or expensive as other “systems”. In fact, if you can spare ten minutes a day or a half hour or so per week, you can make money online. With that much time and effort I can’t guarantee you’ll earn big money but you’ll earn something. And, of course, once you do see those trickling dollars here, a few pennies there; you’ll want to place even more time and effort into it! That’s when the ball will really start rolling. This method of making money online ONLY snowball’s into larger and larger proportions the more you put into it. There’s NO selling, NO advertising costs, once implemented there are NO headaches. Who knows maybe you can even quite your job some day and have a veritable “cash tree” at home. It is the one thing ALL the search engines crave, the reason they send out their “robots”. The search engines will eat your site up and deliver you thousands of FREE visitors. You don’t even need a website to start earning online with this method.

So here are the Keys to Earning Money Online:

1st Key – Content

That’s the answer that literally thousands of people package up with pretty bows and landing pages (a.k.a web page) and sell to you for about eighty bucks too much. There may lie a secret out there to making money online but the one I stand with is CONTENT. That is the key to making money online, easily, affordably, and continuously.

CONTENT IS KING

Fresh, informative, unique, quality Content, to be more precise, is what search engines adore. It’s free, you can write your own content and you don’t even have to be an amazing writer (just look at me and I’ve been earning money online for nearly ten years now). You can work on it whenever you like. Your content so way what you will (try to keep it legal).

Keyword Density – Amount of times a keyword or keyword phrase repeats itself in your content.

e.g. You write a fabulous five hundred word review on “Tennis Shoes”. Your topic of choice is Tennis Shoes but this keyword phrase (Tennis Shoes) is only displayed in your title and never again shows up in your content but the keyword phrase “Muddy Terrain” (just an example) repeats itself ten times in your text. What you really want are readers that are looking for “Tennis Shoes” but you’re instead receiving “Muddy Terrain” visitors because to the search engine robots the Keyword Phrase that repeats itself the most is, you guessed it: “Muddy Terrain”.

  • Try to aim for a 5% keyword density and all should be alright. This figure is often difficult to achieve without your content sounding very very very very very repetitive. If you want targeted readers you need to create a balance between quality and keyword density. This isn’t hard and I can guarantee it gets easier as you go along. Back to our e.g.
  • 5% keyword density on 500 words = 25 repetitions of “Tennis Shoes” is needed. So try to get those into your content right away to ensure that the search engine robots know how to classify your content. (I know that the figures may be off as there are TWO words, its okay to estimate).

2nd & 3rd Key – Display & Monetization

These two keys I’ve grouped together for a reason: Display and Monetization go hand in hand. To ensure that you’ll earn money online your content should be displayed in a way that it is both easy for the reader to read. Reading your content should be a pleasure. This is also true for your ads (Monetization), they should display meaningful offers based on your content. Displaying your content can be done in a number of methods:

1. Website- You can always buy a domain, pay someone to build you a website (or build it yourself) and then place ads on your page to monetize your content.

2. Blogs – Same concept as “Website” but without the hassle of building or buying anything as most are free.

3. Article Directories – This is where you submit your content to directories that do exactly what you need them to do: Publish your content. These sites are dedicated to getting people reading your content. Many also offer Revenue Sharing on ads displayed when a visitor reads your content from their site. This is BY FAR the easiest and simplest way to make money online with your content. The more of these you submit your content to the more you’ll earn (generally speaking).

Revenue Sharing – Mainly done with contextual ads, for example: Google AdSense, Overture, FAN, etc. In return for your content (to prove to you the power of content) these websites offer you a percentage (usually in the 50% range) of the impressions of the ads shown when a user reads your article. Confused?

Let’s say 100 people read your article, that means that the ads will in/surrounding your text will display with your Publisher Id for 50 of those views (based on a 50/50 sharing rate). Which means that, during those 50 impressions, if a visitor clicks on an ad YOU earn money for that click! This may not seem like much but don’t forget that these sites receive millions of viewers a month and there is not limit to the amount of directories you can submit your content to. Post to as many of these as possible.

Contextual Ads – Remember I told you to keep that keyword density up? Well this is why. The most common ads, contextual ads, work on keywords. These will reflect ads that are pertinent to the context of your content. Why is this important? Higher paying keyword phrases will yield higher paying clicks. Some companies pay up to 50 dollars A CLICK on certain keyword phrases! If your content has a good keyword density of those 50-dollar-keywords then those ads will be displayed and if someone clicks on that ads you’ve just earned 50 bucks!

Link Backs – Some of the Article Directories don’t offer Revenue Sharing but you should still submit to these as well. Why? You may be asking? Simple. In ALL article directories you can place a link to anywhere you like in your resource box (by anywhere I normally mean a website or page). Why not place a link to one of your submissions on another site? Maybe one that does allow to earn? You still benefit from their mountains of traffic and all it cost you was a couple of minutes filling out some forms.

4th and Final Key – YOU

You, author, writer, poet, blogger, you are the ULTIMATE Key. If you really and truly want to earn money online, whether it be part time of full time, you are the answer. The more work you put into this (like all else in life) the more you get out of it. I have given you all the Keys to Earning money online right here and if you have any other questions you may always ask now it’s time for you to open the door as only you have that ULTIMATE key!

Earn Money Online With Video Marketing

One of the best ways to promote your products and services on online and in turn Earn Money On Line is With Video Marketing through sites like YouTube and Tubemogul. These sites are massive and have millions of users.  This means of course that these same users could be your future customers or prospects if they you are able to get your videos in front of them.

Video Marketing is now an affordable option for most people because of the is wide variety of digital cameras you can use from mobile phones to flip cameras and high ticket video cameras.  These are often high quality in some cases High definition (my Nokia C7 takes excellent high quality HD video for example).  While you can capture and upload video very easily, below are 3 helpful tips for creating great online videos to help you promote your products and services and make money online.

(1) Equipment

As I said earlier cameras come in all shapes and size and picture quality.  If you are going to go through putting the effort in to marketing with video you really need to use the best quality camera with the best sound quality you can afford.  If you have the ability to use a microphone over the cameras built in mic even better.  Wherever possible use a tripod to remove camera shake and try to avoid zooming in as any subtle camera movements can also cause camera shake and make the finished work look unprofessional.

(2) Carrying out live Interviews on camera

Carrying out live interviews is a quick easy and very cost effective way of making a video which does three things:

1). it brands the person you are interviewing,

2). It identifies you as an expert and

3). It enables you to create a product from the interview which you can give away as a free gift or indeed sell.  Making videos is all about setting the scene and controlling what happens within that environment.

Try to find a quiet venue so as to minimize audio distractions there’s nothing worse than completing the shoot to find car noises or people shouting in the background.  The right venue will also help with producing a professional and polished final cut.   This may sound obvious but make sure that you don’t  make any noise at all when your subject is talking you’ll be amaze at what modern mics can pick up.

Remember to make eye contact with your subject to put them at ease and reduce nerves.  If the person is a seasoned professional this wont be  an issue and on these occasions the interview will probably run like clockwork.  Your main objective here is to try to make the interview look and sound as natural as possible.   Lighting is important to make sure you don’t have shadows in your video, it can be expensive though.  If you have lights great play about with them to get best effect. Iif not try to borrow some or shoot your video in a well lit room or outside to ensure the light is good. Don’t shoot your subject in front of a window with the sun behind them as this will cause your subject appear in silhouette. The best light source comes from behind the camera but shouldn’t be too strong as to be uncomfortable for the person being interviewed.

(3) Posting online

There are many popular digital formats you can save you video out to such as MPEG4, WMV, and MPEG4 it all depends what you intend to use the video for. Once you are clear on what you are going to market your video you need to upload your video file.  This could be directly uploaded to your blog and hosted on your own hosting space or uploaded to a video sharing site such ahs YouTube.  Watch out though because YouTube limits video uploads to 15 minutes and 2GB in file size.  Also if you are in a rush to get a video uploaded it can take anything from a few minutes to several hours to upload depending on the speed of your connection speed and the size of your video.

Following the above steps will allow you to create a good quality video which if marketed well will help to attract prospects and brand your or your products in many cases virally across the internet and Earn Money Online With Video Marketing
